Loofah is a plant that is growing vine from the cucumber family. It is harvested for its utilitarian value. It is made by drying a whole mature fruit.
Natural Loofah is perfect for cleaning and exfoliating the skin. When you scrub it gently on your skin, the friction causes the dead skin cells to shed. It also enhances circulation and encourages pores to expel oil and other impurities. As a result, your skin looks clear, fresh, and healthy.
Loofahs are completely biodegradable. You can just throw it in the compost when it reaches the end of its life. This is the best alternative to plastic loofahs.
In Vriksha Veda, our loofahs are harvested, peeled, deseeded, dried and cut into lengths.
After using, keep the Loofah in a clean and dry place. It will last for months if kept in good condition.
Wet the loofah and douse with soap or shower gel. Scrub the body in a circular motion. Rinse afterwards.
